I have attended today a seminar with the title “Experience of a Mother” at the Nasr City branch of Resala. It is part of a series of seminars given by a mother of a child who has down syndrome. I had previously attended her previous seminar over a month ago. The seminar was jam packed with a lot of useful information that was delivered in a lively way that sounded sincere and practical.
Today’s seminar was about the phase of observation. A person working with children of special needs should have a strong sense of observation in order to be able to discover inappropriate behavior in children early and analyze what is causing such behavior then put measures or design programs to correct such inappropriate behavior.
